How does it work?

The core philosophy of CCNet is economy of scale. To take a simple example,
let’s look at email:the cheapest email server you can buy will probably
accommodate a thousand mailboxes without any problems. That’s fine if you
have a thousand mailboxes, but if you only have a hundred then you’re paying
for a lot of email server you don’t need. With CCNet you just chip in and
take the share you require.It gets a lot more complex than that, but the
principle is there. It’s the same with services – the CCNet helpdesk has
dedicated technicians, but none of them work full-time for any individual member.
